Why Tyra Banks is so judgmental

Reader's question: Hi Tall Girl, I like to watch Tyra Banks Show, but Tyra has become so judgmental to young women who come on her show. I hate to see this side of Tyra. Why is she so judgmental?

Tall Girl's answer: I watched some Tyra Show episodes too and I can agree that Tyra can be very judgmental sometimes. I believe this is her way to influence girls for the better. I don't think Tyra Banks judgmental just to make fun of girls and make herself look better.

Tyra Banks probably beliefs she has to be so judgmental, to influence girls stronger. I believe she wants to do good but sometimes she appears judgmental or even rude in order not to encourage certain bad behavior.

Tyra cares about girls, especially teenage girls and she can be very judgmental toward them because she cares. Maybe she is trying too hard, so she scares people off, like you.

You don't need to hate Tyra for that, I'm sure she does everything the best she can. She is already brave to be on tv everyday for people to judge her. Each of us don't have the best days and Tyra has her own flaws too.

We all aren't perfect, so, of course Tyra Banks isn't a perfect person either.

If she is judgmental, people don't like it. If she wouldn't be judgmental, others would blame her for not being judgmental. When you are in public view it's hard to please everybody. Just try to beleive Tyra did the best she could and maybe Tyra Banks can be more sensitive to her guests someday.

Another reason why Tyra is so judgmental is because she is older than some of her guests and she tries to play a role of parent or mentor to young girls. Maybe she tries too hard when she is so passionate about her personal views and comes across even rude sometimes.

You don't need to be angry at her and her behavior, we aren't all perfect. She is in camera a lot and we can see all her imperfections a lot closer than with any other person. I'm sure he job is stressful and being famous is additional stress. She definitely can't meet everybody's expectations even if she tries sometimes. I think she still does and tries to do good for society and young women.

I don't always agree with her words or behavior either, but I don't judge her too harsh too. Sometimes it seems that she says everything on her mind and maybe she doesn't always think how it can influence others. I wish too, she would be more sensitive and more supportive of her guests. As long as she tries to help and does her best that matters.

I'm sure her life experiences shaped her who she is today. We don't always choose our life, our life experiences and become who we are. On the other side we can express what we would like her to change about her views and behavior but it would be wrong to judge her too much too.
