Living with emotional pain

Living with emotional pain can be difficult. It is real. You can feel it. You can even cry...but more often you just live with it and pretend that you are fine. No matter how good you can pretend, you still can feel emotional pain very real. If your emotional skin was burned, you could still live with emotional pain today.

Listen to your heart and how you feel. Maybe you are so used to feeling bad, feeling in pain that you ignore it? Pain is there, stop and listen to yourself, what is exactly that bothers you today? Why aren't you happy? You can find reasons, you can find what you want, wish or what/who hurt you. We all have past.

Why do we feel pain

Why do you we feel emotional pain? More likely you did the best you could in a certain situation and you don't expect anything bad to happen, you always hope for the best...but life is not fair. Life brings unpleasant results sometimes and it does hurt.

We go through life, taking risks, do what we can to avoid pain, but sometime our wished don't come true and we get hurt. No one wants to get hurt. It's just happens, it's not your fault, but you were not prepared for it anyhow.

No one seeks pain, we do the best we can to avoid pain and we seek pleasure. When you get hurt, it can scar emotionally and leave you living in emotional pain for long.

Examples of emotional pain

What is your emotional pain? Sometimes it can be so hidden that all you would feel sadness and depression. If you find a path where your emotional pain comes from, you could start the healing process. Healing process would involve acceptance, forgiveness and change of what you can change.

The most painful emotional pain can be from being rejected by someone you love, like or look up to. If someone who important to you is rejecting you, it can leave scarred and hurt very deeply. It's the most difficult situation because you can't make someone to like you. No matter what you do or how you act, you just can't make someone to like you. It's all up to that person.

Another form of emotional pain could come from dealing with friendships, family, job, career and etc.

Whatever you pain comes from, it's o'kay to grieve for sometime, and then take action. Focus on positive thoughts, try to fulfill your needs, find happiness in other ways. It is possible for you to be happy again.
