I feel bad all the time...it is what on your mind now. People have emotional skin too. If you get burned emotionally, every little thing could frustrate you and what is important to you could mean nothing to other people. If you feel bad all the time, maybe your emotional scars and wounds didn't heal yet. Maybe you got rejected by someone you love, or someone who is important to you. Maybe you got hurt by someone you trusted very much. Maybe some of your dreams and ambitions didn't come true. It can make scars and wounds in your emotional skin and it takes time to heal. People do suffer emotionally greatly. Emotional pain can make you feel bad all the time. Be patient with yourself and your feelings, it could take a long time to heal your pain and wounds. It would be nice if we could control how we feel, but we are not. It's normal to be sad and feel bad after something painful happened to you. Take your time Take your time to heal your wounds. You can overcome pain with time. Find new goals and new priorities. Look forward to something that you like and enjoy. Do something about it. Don't sit at home and cry all week long...it's o'kay to let yourself grieve and cry for a day or so...but don't make it a part of your daily life. Be patient with yourself too. Don't blame yourself for how you feel. The more forgiveness and acceptance you can practice the faster recovery will be for you. Acceptance and forgiveness comes when you realize you couldn't have done anything better, you did what you could and it's not your fault. Don't blame yourself for too long. You have great qualities and you are good for who you are. What else you can do What else you can do when you feel bad? If you can, try to change situation. If you can't change situation, forgive and accept what you have now, it will make you feel better and look at things more realistically. Then find something positive in your bad experience. If you were hurt before, maybe you can learn something from it. If you were rejected, maybe you still enjoyed some parts of the relationship? There are plenty of opportunity to look at things in a positive way. Start thinking positively. Have faith in great future. Focus on positive thoughts and don't let others to bring you down. Know you are good the way you are and someone will appreciate what you have. |
