How to tell if he is not into you

One of the biggest signs if he is not into you is how much attention he gives you. If you think you are the only one who is looking for his attention and he keeps ignoring you or finds other things more interesting, then it's obvious that he is not that into you.

It is exciting to be attracted to somebody but it can be really frustrating when you are the only one of both of you wants attention or communication. A guy is interested when he clearly shows his attention to you, when he wants to talk to you, to look at you, to be with you, then he is into you. Anything that makes you left feel ignored and unnoticed screams "I'm just NOT that into you!"

If you are more into him than he is into you, it can be very flattering to a guy but really frustrating for you!

If his body posture is away from you, if his feet point away from you and his hands are closed on his chest, he is trying to stay away from you.

It can be very intriguing when he doesn't give clear signals to you and leaves you confused, frustrated and insecure, but you still want to know or simply win his affection, maybe it's better just ask him. He might have very good reason for not being interested at this time and at this moment.

Some guys are very uncomfortable with showing affection when they know it won't lead to anything more and if he is not interested in long term relationship. If he knows that he can't have future with you, he could possible ignore you even consciously.

If you and guy both are available and interested in each other, he would do anything he can to make sure you know that he likes you.

Some women like any kind of attention for the sake of attention, but many men want to have a goal, a purpose to pursue a woman. There are not many guys who would just want to flirt with women for no reason. So, if he is just not that into you, maybe he just doesn't have a good enough reason to pursue you. Maybe he will move away in a few months, so he doesn't want to pursue the relationship, maybe he thinks you are high maintenance and he is affraid to get rejected, so there are many reasons why a guy wouldn't want to show any affection.

Also, maybe he is very secure that you like him, so he doesn't have to try hard to win your affection. But if you play hard to get, he could be too reluctant to make a move.

Whatever you do, if he is not that into you, he could very well high maintenance for you and you need to decide if that's what you want. If you want to pursue a man, if it makes you happy, then why not, but if it makes you frustrated you don't find much in it at all, it's better to give up and move to the next friendlier guy.
