I have so many problems in life during current recession and economic problems. Each day I worry about loosing my job because so many people are laid off. Could you give me advice how to be happy again?

First of all, it is good you realized your problem and you are trying to do something about it.
Many people struggle with happy feelings when something doesn't go their way or feel like they have no control over a certain situation. But what if recession will go on forever does it mean you could never be happy? Yes, you can learn to be happy even in worst times.
First Step - be grateful for what you have
Many of us wish for more and more things in life, but sometimes we need to stop and start appreciating what we have.
Be grateful for your health first. If you can walk, talk, you are considered a lucky person because so many people don't even have that. If you have healthy relatives you should be very happy person too that you don't have too worry about them.
If you have a spouse, friends, pets, be greatful for having them in your life too.
If all things went wrong
If you feel like everything is wrong in your life, if you feel like you don't have good health or you don't have any people around who would love you. You can be greatful for the experinces you have that can help your spiritual growth. You can also remember that your situation could be worse and there are many people who have more problems than you do.
Help Someone. You can also help someone else and stop focusing on your own needs. There are many people who feel like you do and maybe you could help someone and you both would be happy.
Learn to be Happy
Yes, you need to learn to be happy. Many of us learned to be unhappy, but it's time to change it and learn happiness.
Happiness is within us. This is how we feel. Life has it's ups and downs and we need to start appreciate all life experiences and learn something good from every situation. What seems a difficult situation right now could be a blessing later on. Have faith that everything happens for the better.
Believe in God
Sometimes faith in God can help you overcome hard situations. Remember that God loves you and cares about you, talk to him and it can help you to be happy. Sing songs and praise the Lord, it can boost your mood greatly.
