First of all you need to look at your own life and see what is in your life that you didn't get. Major stress or loss of somebody, loss of the loved one or loss of friendship can lead to a prolong depression in women. Especially if it's related to social events such as love, friendship and job, could greatly affect depression in women. If you feel down all the time, if you lost sexual desire and interest in normal activities, you probably going through a severe depression. If you keep thinking about something that makes you sad, it could be depression too. Depression is a natural consequence of something traumatic happened in your life, maybe you are dealing with grieving too. Depression in women more common than depression in men. Men and women are not only physiologically different but also have different social and emotional needs, so all of these affects severe and prolonged depression in women. If you feel like you don't want do anything during a day, if it's too hard even do dishes, or clean the house, then you are more likely to be depressed. What can you do about it? Do you have to go to doctor immediately or can you try natural way to elevate your mood? First of all, don't expect immediate results. Healing your depression and healing your heart takes time. Usually people have very good reason to be depressed, so don't be surprised that you would have to learn to reason with yourself and your situation to get healed and feel better. Try to pursue new interests in life. Try to focus on living a healthy lifestyle, eat better and healthier, exercise more and find a hobby or new passion for something. Once you can focus on something to pursue, you will feel in control of your life to some degree and it will help you to deal with your depression and you will feel better. Try to find something that you can control and focus on it, maybe it's your job, maybe it's your lifestyle or hobby, something that can take your mind away from your depressive thoughts for a moment and it will help you heal. Don't rush things though. Don't blame yourself for feeling useless and depressed. You are a good person they way you are and don't let anyone, even your depression to feel bad about yourself. Women usually have more guilt than men do, don't blame yourself for being too sensitive, for feeling too guilty, God forgives everything and try to be who you are. No matter what you do, it's who you are and don't feel bad about it. It's your life, it's your learning experience and God knows exactly what you feel and what you go through. Just do everything thing you can to get through this journey the best way possible. |
